Top 1% Originator Sebastian Burfitt Opens New Revolution Mortgage Branch in Texas

Revolution Mortgage, a lender based in Columbus, Ohio, has announced a new location opening in Katy, Texas. The branch will be led by Sebastian Burfitt (NMLS#352691) and is the sixth Revolution Mortgage branch in the state of Texas.

Sebastian Burfitt has been in the home financing industry for 17 years. His previous roles include mortgage loan officer positions at Iberia Bank Mortgage and Guild Mortgage, also in Texas. In 2020, Burfitt was recognized as a top originator by Scotsman Guide and a top 1% originator by Mortgage Executive Magazine.

Burfitt started his career as a loan originator in 2004 after graduating from Texas A&M University with a business degree. What started as a post-college job, quickly turned into a career as he began building his knowledge and understanding of the lending industry and found a passion for helping people become homeowners. Over the years, Burfitt has become an expert in FHA, VA, USDA, and JUMBO Conventional loans and has assisted hundreds of first-time homebuyers. Burfitt was drawn to Revolution Mortgage as he was ready to have full control of the lending process and give his clients and partners unparalleled service.

Burfitt's branch will also be managed by his wife, Kimberly Burfitt. In 2022, they hope to help at least 250 families achieve their dream of homeownership, expand their branch operation by adding key hires, and continue to strengthen Revolution's growing presence in The Lone Star State.
