Angel Baez Tapped to Open Revolution Branch in Ft. Lauderdale

Revolution Mortgage, a mortgage company based in Columbus, Ohio, has announced a new location opening in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The branch will be operated by Angel Baez (NMLS# 602438) and makes the third branch for the lender in the state of Florida.

Angel Baez started in the mortgage industry in 2001 working at Flagstar Bank in Troy, Michigan. He began his career in the wholesale division as an account executive then moved to retail origination in 2006 as a branch manager in Lake Worth, Florida. He then worked for a few direct lenders prior to opening Mortgage Direct, LLC in September 2019.

After two decades in loan origination, Baez is ready to take the next step in his career that will allow him to grow and expand his business. While Baez enjoyed operating his own brokerage, he decided to join Revolution with his team of eight as the company would offer them technology and benefits that aren't accessible as a small business. Now Baez is focused on getting his Ft. Lauderdale branch up and running and is already working on expanding by opening another location in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Baez's goal for his first year in business is to collectively hit $80-150 million in loan volume and then $200 million in his second year once his team has established themselves in the local market. He is also looking forward to strengthening the Revolution brand in Florida and growing his team in the upcoming months.
